Mother tongue(s): English and Spanish
Other language(s): Portuguese and German (Basic level)
I have a native background in both languages ever since I started to talk. I grew up in South Africa where I did all my schooling up to high school and later worked in a shipping agency during six months. My English has been kept active, since I left South Africa, as my home language is English due to my marriage with an English-speaking person, and to my 35 years of professional work.
Computer skills and competences
I have been working with computers since 1989.
Good command of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Access). Good knowledge to handle graphic designs.
I have made quite some presentations (in 1997 one of my PowerPoint presentations promoting an engineering plant was running automatically in a PC in Duro Felguera's stand in the PROMA-Bilbao Trade Fair).
I designed brochures and catalogues for my latter company, and due to this experience I have no problems handling text, images, tables, graphics, etc. in Microsoft Office formats.
I format all translated documents to mirror the original source document.

The road was not long. She felt alive. That was a PLACE TO FIND. She closed her eyes and breathed. She could still remember the lively nights she spent at the BIG BLACK HOLE. Was that a place for lost souls as told by the boys with a HEART OF STONE? She opened her eyes and thought “I DON’T KNOW.” After all, those days when the LITTLE GREEN RED MAN was chasing her, was water under the bridge. She felt she was another person, like a QUEEN OF FIRE. Reborn from her ashes. The PRAY that man had taught her seemed to work. That guy, the one that wherever he went, he left a LOSING STAR.
